Email X-Tractor is a very simple program that has worked well for me.  I had searched the internet to find something that would allow me to extract the email addresses from messages that were sent back from destination email servers so that I could clean up my customer database.  I could not find anything, so I developed a solution.

This utility uses a proprietary algorithm to extract the e-mail addresses out of the body of a message that has been sent back from a destination e-mail server.  It will work for any returned message.   It is very useful to help eliminate nonexistent e-mail addresses from your customer database.

You can view and edit the e-mail addresses that have been extracted from your database

You can view the e-mail addresses by domain.  This can help you clean you database up if you see a lot of e-mails with something like aop.com (perhaps it should be aol.com?).

You can also get a graphical view of the quantity of e-mail addresses within a specific domain.
